Shane was born and raised in Lake Charles, Louisiana. For the past 9 years Shane has actively litigated cases on behalf of both individuals and corporations. Shane is a zealous advocate for individuals who have been injured at the hands of others. Shane has also spent 9 years fighting for the rights of individuals accused of crimes in both Federal and State Court. Shane is knowledgeable in defending individuals charged with driving while intoxicated and has successfully defended individuals charged with felony DWIs. Shane is an avid follower of developments in technology and has experience in programming and computer maintenance. Shane has testified as an expert in the field of Criminal Law in the 14th Judicial District Court for the Parish of Calcasieu. Shane has represented individuals who have been accused of violating the Digital Millenium Copyright Act and individuals sued by corporations for infringing their copyrights. Shane's knowledge of computers has also given him a unique perspective on representing individuals in both State and Federal Court who have been charged with online solicitation of a minor as well as possession or distribution of child pornography particularly using peer to peer file sharing networks. The majority of Shane's practice is spent in the Courtroom and trial work is what he is known for. Shane currently resides in Lake Charles, Louisiana where he lives with his son and English Bulldog Winston. Shane is also a firearms enthusiast who enjoys both pistol and rifle shooting. Shane has been on CBS 48 Hours, the Investigation Discovery Channel as well as shows such as Southern Fried Homicide and the show Snapped on the Oxygen Network.
