Louisiana man booked on negligent homicide charge for crash

Around 5:18 a.m. on Feb. 22, a fatal accident reportedly occurred in the westbound lanes of Interstate 10 when the 27-year-old driver of a fast moving 2003 Acura RSX changed lanes and struck a slower moving 2004 Isuzu Rodeo. The two vehicles spun out of control, and the Rodeo rolled down the embankment landing on Boudreaux Road in Gonzales. A 66-year-old male resident of Baton Rouge was driving the Rodeo, and he died at the scene.

Mardi Gras traffic accident claims 1 life, driver indicted

Mardi Gras is a day of fun and partying in southern Louisiana. Despite the fun-loving atmosphere of the day, it is still important that drivers operate their vehicles safely. Failing to do so can lead to serious accidents that cause serious injuries or even death. An accident on Mardi Gras afternoon claimed the life of a school system employee. The driver who was caused the accident has been indicted on a host of charges.

Three-car accident kills passenger

A deadly accident on a Louisiana highway has left a 55-year-old Opelousas man dead and a substantial number of other people injured. According to official reports, the crash happened at the intersection of U.S. Highway 190 and Interstate 49 at 9:30 p.m. on March 27.
